30000days.net provides a forum and opportunity for reflection about life from a unique perspective. It's easy and natural to measure your life in terms of years and months, and sometimes people just let one day flow into the next without giving it much thought. It's less common for people to look at their lives more holistically and truly reflect on how they spend each day.

After realizing that the average human lifespan is 30,000 days, people typically have one or both of the following reactions:

That's a long time! I'd better plan for it and make sure I can live life to the fullest each of those days. This includes staying healthy, having a reasonable financial plan, having people to love and who will love and support me emotionally, caring for my spiritual well-being, and possibly other facets of my life.

While that's a considerable number of days, it is finite. While my personal lifespan is unknown, can I really afford to "waste" a day...or 10 days...or 100 days? People begin to think in terms of "seize the day" and doing some of the things on their "bucket list". Maybe every day doesn't need to be jam packed with activities, events, or experiences, but perhaps each day should hold meaning of some form. Some might be just taking the time to prepare for a day when more is happening.

Along the way, 10,000 days and 20,000 days seem like key milestones on the journey. There are many ways to look at the stages of life but these major delineations seem like good points to reflect on what has occurred in your life and what lies ahead.

30000days.net allows you to share thoughts and reflections about your life and how you spend each day. You can meet other people who take the time for these meditations and connect with people that you believe are effective in shaping your philosophy and sense of purpose in life.

If you have suggestions at any time for how we could help you accomplish these goals, please let us know! We'd like to hear from you.
